About My Work with Clients

If you haven’t felt seen or heard, let this be the place where you can speak out loud what you’ve held inside, allow more of your truth to be known, and be met with understanding and care.

Our time together is unhurried, offering space to reflect, feel, and uncover the meaning you've taken away from your experiences. Whether we meet virtually or in person, you’ll have the full hour, unhurried and entirely yours.

I welcome people from all backgrounds into an affirming space where respect, compassion, and support guide the work. In sessions, we look beyond today’s challenges to better understand what is shaping your experiences. Together, we work toward healing, learning to manage current concerns, and growing in ways that feel authentic to you. I balance support and challenge to help you trust yourself more fully.

I use a trauma-informed, integrative, and person-centered approach supported by evidence-based methods like cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and mindfulness practices. Whether practical, emotional, or reflective, these are simply tools to help you turn inward, ease what feels overwhelming, and move toward a greater sense of empowerment.

Couples & Relationship Counseling

Relationship counseling offers a space to understand the bonds we form and the ways attachment, boundaries, and individual identity shape how we connect with others. In this work, we explore patterns that show up in moments of closeness and conflict, including love, anger, resentment, and the fears or needs beneath them. Sessions support clearer communication, greater understanding, and more intentional choices around commitment and care, helping relationships move toward honesty, balance, and connection.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy matters. I do not confirm or deny anyone’s status as a client. I also do not use AI software or automated tools to record, transcribe, or take notes during sessions. Every part of the therapeutic process is handled with care to protect your confidentiality.

Accessing Your Health Records

In accordance with Texas Health & Safety Code §181.105 (HB 4224), you have the right to access your health records, contact the Texas licensing authority or file a complaint if you have concerns.

Complete instructions are available on the Clients Rights page.

Important Practice Limitations

Certain mental health concerns require a higher level of care or more specialized support than I can provide. These include, but are not limited to, acute or crisis-level needs such as active suicidality, psychosis, severe mood or dissociative disorders, eating or substance use disorders, active domestic violence, and court-mandated services.

A list of specialized care providers and programs is available on the Resources page to help you explore additional support options.
